I have been on vacation for the last few days and have seriously neglected this blog. I have also neglected taking photos of everything I eat.
I figured why not do a big catch up post. I'll be showing the photos of everything I managed to photograph before I ate at the end of the post. Here is what I did workout-wise:
Saturday Nov. 7th: Jogged 4.5KM and did some stretching afterwards.
Sunday Nov 8th: Did the workout routine I talked about in this post.
Monday Nov 9th: Rest day
Today :) Completed a 6.25KM run.
Today was such a good day. Matt and I ran along the Bedford highway and when we got to our normal half way point I was feeling GREAT!!! So we pushed it a little farther. Then when we got to the bottom of our street I decided I wasn't done and did another 10 minutes or so of jogging before going up the big hill to our place. Even after we got home I didn't feel as exhausted as I normally do after a jog. I was so full of energy and I wasn't out of breath at all. I really think I could have gone even farther. The only reason I didn't was because I didn't want to push my knees too far too quick. It's an easy way to get an injury.
I updated my running playlist on my ipod today with some new songs but I didn't really come up with that many. Do you have any songs you recommend for working out to?
